The apartment (75 m²) features three rooms, balcony and is perfect for 5 people. The living room is equiped with a sofa-corner, Sat-TV, DVD, videorecorder, hammock, bean bags and Floccati-carpet. An additional person can easily sleep on one of the sofas. The bedroom has a double bed, spacious wardrobe and a television. The third room has a sofa which opens into a comfortable double bed , a library, desk with computer and ADSL internet accession, chair and access to the balcony. A big library with many books located in the pretty and spacious lobby and in the third room library. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, large fridge, E-stove, oven, microwave, toaster, a coffee machine, juicer, etc.... A large table provides enough space for 6 people. In addition: shower and WC , hair dryer washing machine and drying machine, baby bed and baby high chair. Bed linen and towels are included. This is a non-smoker appartment. Smoking only on the balcony.

In the vicinity of Salzburg there are many beautiful places for excursions, like the Untersberg the lakes region Salzkammergut, the ice caves in Werfen, the salines in Hallein, the Königssee in Berchtesgaden and many more.

Coming form the freeway A 10 EXIT Salzburg Airport, go ahead to the first traffic light, then turn left to Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse. At the end of Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse turn right to Maxglaner Hauptstrasse. After having passed a small bridge, turn immediately left to Straubingerstrasse. At the end of Straubingerstrasse turn left to Ganshofstrasse. It's the second house on the left side, a light green house.

wonderful stay at Dr. Ruth's apartment in Salzburg
It was a wonderful apartment overall, Nice connectivity of Bus. Very clean. My daughter enjoyed a lot as there were lots of toys and book for her. I recommend this apartment for small families.
Really we enjoyed the stay in this apartment.

Perfekte Unterkunft
Wir sind 3 Freundinnen, die schon seit 10 Jahren Kulturreisen durch die ganze Welt unternehmen. Dabei wohnen wir am liebsten in Ferienwohnungen - und diese tolle 3-Zimmer-Wohnung ist bisher wirklich die beste Unterkunft gewesen: Sauber, perfekt ausgestattet, nur 4 Bushaltestellen vom Zentrum entfernt, Supermarkt in der Nähe, sehr ruhige Lage - einfach GENIAL! Und vielen Dank an unsere wundervolle Vermieterin, die uns tolle Tipps gegeben hat und immer erreichbar war! Das war sicher nicht unsere letzte Reise nach Salzburg, und wenn wir wieder in dieser grandiosen Stadt sind, dann wohnen wir natürlich wieder in diesem Haus.

excellent apartment
We spent two weeks in Austria and found the accommodations to be generally expensive and the service poor. This place was the exception to the rule and by far the best place we stayed in during our time in Austria. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had all the comforts of home - including ample towels, high chairs, and baby cots (if needed). The owner was friendly and very helpful - she even drove me to the airport with all our luggage. The apartment is a pleasant 20 minute walk to the old part of town. Several supermarkets are close by. I would highly recommend staying here. Next time we are in Salzburg we would certainly rent this property again.

home away from home
One couldn't ask for a more ideal place to retreat to after a day of sightseeing, eating and shopping in Salzburg. Nestled in a quiet and picturesque neighbourhood, this 3-room apartment was a perfect abode. While the city is merely a few minutes away and easily accessable by bus, there are a few eatries and a supermarket nearby for those who do not wish to venture too far.
From the games and extensive collection of books , updated guides and concert listings to the well equipped kitchen-- every little detail is thoughtfully considered. We returned "home" every evening to do the laundry, enjoy a hot meal, access the internet and curl up in front of the TV.
This is the sort of apartment that makes one feel less like a tourist and more like somebody's personal guest. It was a pleasure meeting the charming and welcoming Dr Ruth, and we do hope we can return to her wonderful home again.

excellent apartment in Salzburg
Stayed 15 to 19 in February 2010. The nicest virtue of this place is its proximity to the old town, while placed in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is excellent looked over and equipped with everything one needs to have during stay out of home. The owner is extremely welcoming and willing to fulfill the guest needs.
The parking place adjacent to the apartment is an extra comfort to who arrive with car to the place.

The 3 room apartment is very spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. It is in a quiet street, yet 15 minutes walk from the historical centre. We had a lovely time and wished we could have stayed longer than just 4 days.

Excellent Apartment
I spent 5 days in this spacious and comfortable apartment together with my son, his wife and their 2 children and we had all the comfort one can wish for. There were plenty of games and children books for the kids and a hammock in the lvingroom which they really enjoyed. In the closet there were plenty of towels , in the kitchen lots of dishes and everything one needs, a really well equipped apartment where one gets the feeling the owner does everything to make her guests feel at home. The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood and you get to the center in a nice walk of about 15 minutes . There are plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood , one just around the corner which is quite good. Alltogether, it was a great choice and I can really recommend this apartment.

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub in Salzburg verbracht und uns dafür dieses Appartment ausgesucht. Das war eine gute Entscheidung. Selten haben wir ein so gutes Equipment vorgefunden. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und großzügig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Sie liegt in einem hübschen Viertel mit ruhiger Nachbarschaft. Die Entfernung zur Altstadt ist auch zu Fuß in Ordnung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder herkommen. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert!
We spent a short holiday in Salzburg and choose this appartment. It was a good decision. We seldom found a such a good equipment. The appartment is nice and generous equipped and very clean. It is located in a nice quarter and a quiet neighbourhood. Also the distance to the Altstadt in ok - even by food. We would stay here again. In short: Highly recommended!

We spent 2 weeks in the 3 room apartment and had a really great time. The apartment is very spacious .. It was meticulously clean and very well equipped. In the kitchen plenty of dishes and everything you could wish for. It was the best equipped kitchen we ever had in a holiday apartment. On rainy days we also enjoyed the big library and games. . The apartment is very conveniently located. it is a pleasant 15 minutes walk to the old city. It is in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, very close to a bus stop, bakery and grocery store. You can park the car in the yard near the house.
The owner has thought of everything possible to make her guests feel at home. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

great place to stay in Salzburg
What a great place to stay! The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood only a 10-15 minute walk from the city center. Parking is included and a very good pizza place is nearby. A car in not necessary if you are only going into the city.
The apartment is very spacious and four of us had plenty of room. Everything you would need is there and I would definately stay again. Thanks again Dr. Ruth.
