This land-marked historic district (19th century cast iron architecture)with wide cobblestone streets is just a few blocks from both the art galleries
and up to the minute boutique shopping of SOHO. Right in
the midst of the best 4 star and chef owned award winning restaurants
in lower Manhattan. Home to the international spring Film Festival, when This area is abuzz with excitement. Much area celeb spotting and on site movie production. Walk to Greenwich Village, Chelsea, Soho, Meatpacking district or Chinatown or wander over to the wonderful Hudson River Park, right along the river, where there are miles of an uninterrupted wide biking and pedestrian jogging path w/o cars, that go all the way uptown,as well as several lovely waterfront parks.
