La Grande Grue
This is a 17th century house that has been renovated using traditional methods, and where possible many of the original details have been saved. Consequently the house has beautiful exposed oak beams and stonewalls. There is a modern bathroom and kitchen for all of your everyday needs. The living room has a large wood burning stove, which can be lit for the cooler evenings, e. g. during Winter and in the Summer guests can open the folding doors leading out to the garden. There is garden furniture and a barbecue available. The whole estate is available for our guests to enjoy, e. g. you can take a refreshing dive in our swimming pool or sit under the Lime tree with a drink. If guests do not feel like cooking, then join your hosts for a meal. Guests can also have breakfast prepared for them. The famous Loire is a short walk from the estate, and guests can swim, fish, canoe or just relax by the riverbanks. On the other side of the village there is a canal that runs parallel with the Loire, here guests will find a yacht club and restaurant, (the yachts are available for hire). If guests would prefer to be more actively entertained there is a karting lane close by and also a large amusement-animal park within a half hour's driving.
